Pain, pain go away!
Untreated temporomandibular joint disorders are, unfortunately, one of the most widespread causes for a large number of orthopedic, neurological and functional problems.

Aside from the varying symptoms, it is the pain the patients’ experience that sends them on an odyssey from doctor to doctor.

At the top floor of our skeletal system, it is the interplay of the muscles of the upper and lower jaws, joints, ligaments, etc. that can be the cause of many orthopedic problems, such as slipped discs, pelvic obliquity, leg shortening, or the entire spectrum of disorders of the autonomous nervous system, such as dizziness, tiredness, tinnitus (ringing of the ears), muscular tenseness and pain!

Disorders caused by tooth and jaw misalignment can also result in the destruction of the teeth down to the roots due to pressing and grinding the teeth, as well as shrinkage of the gums that leads to oversensitivity of the necks of the teeth.

Correcting obvious misalignments of the jaw and teeth can have amazing results.Measurement of the temporomandibular joint, and manual and instrumental functional analysis give us the certainty that we can make a fundamental improvement of your health.

Unfortunately, lawmakers have neglected to include financial support for these services in the public health insurance plans, but private health insurance policies usually cover all costs and services.

Aside from the therapy where the jaw is braced, which usually provides immediate relief to end the vicious cycle, only a permanent elimination of the cause can lead to the desired result.
There are only two alternatives for the permanent solution: your dentist reconstructs the chewing surfaces of your teeth or reconstructs poorly fitted dental prostheses, or your orthodontic specialist realigns your teeth and jaw to a preprogrammed neutral position.

In addition to our efforts, the diagnostics are often supplemented by special x-rays taken of the temporomandibular joint in the radiology department, and we work closely with your family doctor, orthopedist, and physiotherapist to help you to lasting, pain-free health.
Functional diagnostics and therapy

In the treatment of temporomandibular joint disorders, correction of the teeth is harmonized with the functions of the temporomandibular joint.

We employ special examination and treatment methods for the temporomandibular joint. Please ask us!
